Christian Bédat, the CEO of BEDAT & C°, was born in the industry. He represents the spirit behind the company and for him: “the biggest challenge is to create something extraordinary, yet that will last”. His priority is to create elegant, refined, timeless and prestigious watches capitilizing on traditional shapes.

History and philosophy

Motivated by many years of experience, the creators founded BEDAT & C° in 1996 to suceed in the challenge of building a new name in the luxury watchmaking establishment.

Gucci concluded the strategic alliance with BEDAT & C° in December 2000 by acquiring majority in the business.
